The location here was amazing! It's right by the harbor for river cruises, the main old town, shops, restaurants, and even the mountains. We booked a room with our own private patio. 🌟

I was given a fully-equipped and well-kept room with comfortable beds, wonderful view plus a balcony. I had a generous and rich breakfast with fresh bread, the best espresso plus rolls.

The property is spotlessly clean with a nice design, and the continental breakfast is RICH. Make sure you stay in the queen room with the view of the lake.

Location: the hotel was near to the center of Lucerne, river and mountain, and the top attractions in Lucerne. The room we were offered an upgrade to was good-sized and nice styled and included central heating, a private safe and multi-channel TV.

Newly decorated rooms and clean.
No restaurant, bar or other facilities. Felt like a youth hostel. Very expensive for what it was

The city is magnificent! Hotel is excellent! It is in the beginning of the historical center, and entrance for the car is conveniently ,is the own parking., the big rooms (we stayed at 305 with the big balcony). In the room all is conveniently - bed, pillows, blankets, the TV, the big bathroom, good speed of the Internet. We traveled by the car and we had a trouble - the windshield was broken . Owners of hotel Margaret and Ernest have kindly solved this problem - they have found a car service and have agreed about glass replacement. We needed only to give car keys and in the morning of next day our car was returned to us with new windshield and even new vignettes. Super! And also they advised restaurant with the Swiss dishes and national show. We have great pleasure from this evening and an excellent fondue! We recommend this hotel for all tourists, because this hotel dont have lacks and you will be surrounded by attention. Margaret and Ernest - you are the best owners! Thanks a lot!!!

This hotel was very well located, whilst not right in the centre, it's only about 5min walk from where all the bars, restaurants and shopping is and overlooks one of the walking bridges, it's also perfectly located for a walk along the old city wall which I would highly recommend, probably something many people don't do when you visit Lucerne but well worth it. You get great views over the lake and the city and the wall itself is very interesting and well preserved. The facilities are simple yet stylish and is excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend this to friends who are not wanting to spend a small fortune on accommodation and I'd stay here again. Try to get a river view though!

Family suite is huge, clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location superb, great views and short walk into the centre. Breakfast very good.
Nothing apart from the cost, would recommend requesting a car parking space when booking as very few spaces.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
